This is the video that got me so interested in impromptu magic. If you have ever been caught off
guard with people wanting to see something, but you don't have any props, then this is the dvd for
you. As Greg says on the dvd, a real entertainer should be able to entertain with anything at
anytime. Greg shows a variety of with a variety of props. Recapped is the strongest routine on the
dvd. I give this a 3 only because a lot of the material is either borrowed from other performers or
are generic standards. Still this is a great dvd.

This set contains a lot of impromptu magic that you can do anywhere at anytime with everyday
objects. Probably my favourite routines on this set is the coin under watch where you make a
borrowed coin appear under a spectator's watch, and recap which is a really cool trick you can do
with an ordinary pen but gets huge reactions from the crowd. Gregory Wilson has also put out a video
since then called "On the Spot" which has most of this material plus a little bit more.

If you are betting someone is doing "Recap" while waiting in line at the Magic Castle, you lose. It
is against the rules to do magic while waiting in line at The Castle.
Some creative ideas, but not very many things that I personally find useful for me as a restaurant
magacian. Still some creative thinking, and recommend for beginner to intermediates.
Another awesome DVD by Greg Wilson! I am a huge fan of his other DVDs, like Double Take and Hundy
500. I know some people prefer On the Spot (which I have yet to buy) but the tricks are great, such
as Recap, Coin in Watch, and Time Bandits....and I performed one of the tricks on this DVD to turn a
sugar packet to dollars bills to tip waitresses at the restaurant, reactions were great!
Since it is impromptu magic, sleight of hand and subtleties are a must to pull the tricks off.
All you need is practice!
This item and Greg Wilson's Double Take should be in the "Greg
Wilson Store" Definitely deserve the attention of Penguin Magic's customers!
Oh my god this DVD is awesome I just received it today and i am already taking this stuff
everywhaere with me. I carry around two rubber bands for Time Bandits, which is my new icebreaker
trick. A pen for recap, which is so visually shocking you will fool your self to a point. Normally
in magic DVDs there are only a few gems, but this DVD itself is a gem!
Only problem was on
the trick "off the cuff" He didn't really explain this part of the trick very well so I don't think
I fully understand how to do this but I use my variation of it any way.
This DVD is awesomeness. The routines (espescially recap) are taught in great detail. After the
tricks, Greg gives suggestions and has a discussion with his audience, which helps. I gave it four
stars because there aren't really any close-up shots, which can make the learning process a little
bit difficult, but don't let that deter you from purchasing this DVD. Thanks again Penguin for a
Grade A purchase. You guys rule, so does Greg!
