When I first received the Gemini Pouch, I was a bit disappointed with the simplicity of it. But when
I used it for the first time, and when the audience was going nuts, I knew this was worth every
cent!
You may shake your head at the secret at first, but the secret is the last thing you
should consider when using this device.
Besides the fact that this prop is simple, yet
effective, it is also VERSATILE. I use the pouch with ALL of my gimmicked coin sets to make them
completely examinable at the beginning and the end of the effect. I also use it to simply store the
coins when I have other things in my pocket! If you have sets like "Copper, Silver, Brass" or
"Scotch and Soda" or "The 21 Cent Trick," you will love this. It opens so many doors for ways to
(with NO COVER) switch out coins (as well as a multitude of other things).
Aside from my
own personal uses of the pouch, I love that there are so many great routines that Jay Sankey
includes with this product! If you just pick ONE, and work with it, and perform it, you will have
something worth the price of the entire product.
In the way of close-up and restaurant
work, this simple little utility device is SO great. If you have a bit of imagination, and you want
hundreds of possibilities for astonishing closeup magic, then buy the Gemini Pouch.
The
low-star reviewers are just mad that they didn't get a "sweet new gimmick" that they can mess around
with, and they probably don't see the potential of the Gemini Pouch.
Like George Anderson
said, the pouch can be the best prop you own, if you are a competent performer.
The only
reason it doesn't have five stars is that it could have been made of better material. But I have had
mine for two years with no problems! So don't let that deter you from it.
P.S. DO NOT leave
an old dollar bill folded up in the pouch in your back pocket all day! It will leave a detectable
mark. And also, don't put it through the wash with a card in it! I have heard horror stories...
Other than that, just treat it like you would any valuable prop.
Okay, that's all. ADD

As simple as this little prop is, I use it all the time in my professional close-up repertoire. I
always get surprise responses from the audience. Dont let the other reviews fool you; it is a
simple prop, but in the hands of a capable magician its a great trick. Jay includes many ideas for
the use of the Gemini Pouch.

Unless you've got plenty of ideas for effects which require switching cards, coins or billets then I
wouldn't reccommend this. Jay does provide a few tricks but really they aren't strong enough or
original enough to make the price worth-it. If however you have plenty of tricks which require you
to fairly cleanly switch an item, then this could be just what you need!

I love this so much I bought four. it packs so flat and I have about 13 different effects. The
booklet has like 20 or so amazing ideas. Love it. Highly recommend.

As always, Jay includes a plethora of information and facts. Personally, seven of them fit my style.
I am experimenting with them but purchased three of these Gemini pouches so I can do at least three
trucks! Love. Good quality, can fit in my pocket. Utility device.

great utility device. my favorite.
I find that hobbyists have a harder time controlling the audience (ie friends), some who want to
discover your secrets--even if it means embarrassing you. I have this pouch, but the pouch is not
examinable; indeed the secret is very obvious the moment you handle it.
I suspect that the
above would apply to walk a round in a bar.
It certainly does all the good stuff that
others have mentioned, but bear in mind my concerns and then decide.
it is ok for beginners but waste of money
