The magician tells them to focus on the cards and then balances the entire deck of 52 cards on his/her index finger! The spectator then names the cards and as the card is named the magician throws the cards in the air only to grab one!! It's their selected card!

This is a nice little stunt, and does give you another way to reveal a chosen card. The price is definitely right, and the gaff isn't hard to make.

Invisible Solution Report this review

I've always loved the suspended deck effect. Despite having 2 versions, I got this one to see if it had more to offer. Low and behold, it does! The m.o. here is subtle, invisible and does not have to be 'put away' or for that matter, 'introduced'-it's easily accessible from the start, and remains invisible at finish. Care needed during suspension, but not much. What I appreciate is how something so tiny and well camouflaged, can have the entire deck suspended in 1 finger. The addition of tossing the deck and catching their card, adds greater surprise. Andrew is very thorough in gaff construction, and presentation. Good camera work as well. It may have helped in the presentation phase if the camera was set where a spectatotor would be-and not at waist level. Nonetheless, this is a double shot mystery worth more I think than the price. Further, the card one creates may have additional usages-think locator, short or crimp card. It may also be palmed out leaving one with a complete deck. Overall, very happy with this version of the suspended deck. I don't like the idea of throwing my cards up, and having to pick them up from the ground-but there's a way to do this toss without so much aftermath chaos.
