the gimmick it self is really good, but the video ad is very misleading. In the trailer it seems
that it can do everything on the fly, the leaf and mug seems promising, but in the DVD it didn't
really tells you how to do that, and the burned impression has to be prepared beforehand. Although
it is a good gimmick, but the trailer is just way too misleading, that is why I give it a three star
2 of 4 magicians found this helpful.
This gimmick is wonderfull. Perfect size, perfect color, unbreakable, it will last forever.
The dvd is very poor. Poor video quality, only a routine by Dan Harlan. The routine is ok . It
consists in forcing a card, taking a duplicate of a card already prepared with the gimmick, make the
spectator pass the flamme of a lighter under it, and swithching the card to the prepared one.
The wickness is that you have to burn 2 cards per routine, and using a card from the deck for
the revelation is not really clever.
BUT, you can do the same kind of revelation using a
deck of business cards. You prepare several business cards with the gimmick, put a blank card under
the business card deck, show under the deck, make a "glide" to take the prepared card face down,
make the spectator pass the flame under the card (it add some trace also but it doesn't matter),
turn the card: boom!!!
It is also possible to perform it "on the fly" with a business card.
It requires a bit of manipulation but it's great. I have tried it and it's perfect. The size and
shape of the gimmick make it perfect to palm.
I love it!!!
Last thing... You can
also perform the "Third Degree Burn by Jason Palter" effect with the gimmick...
I do a matchbox reveal with this gimmick that looks beautiful and makes such a simple sleigth/move
and a regualar matchbox end look like real magic and kills lay-audiences. This is my new "Blister"
BUY THIS!
To be honest i did`nt really watch the DVD more than once and not very
in-depth. I basically just saw what it was et.c and started making up my own ideas immediately.
Imagination is all you need, and you can pretty much set up a reveal on the spot without much
hassle and even showed later with a different card.
I like Sans Minds and their easy going
approach to magic alot. I use multiple effects of theirs on the daly with shurefire results.
The Gimmick will truly last a lifetime. You can slay any layman with the revelation of their
thought of card. There are so many applications you can use the Gimmick on, just use your
imagination. The best part is that you can give away the card, coke can, leaf, chinese food box,
styrofoam cup or whatever to the spectator leaving a lasting impression. This Gimmick got me hired
for a restaurant gig. (Performed a Card Trick) ADD TO CART!
Simple yet powerful, endless uses!
This plays big for lay audiences and gives them something to remember you. The gimmick fits in your
wallet and the prep can be done on the fly.
