11 truly amazing card tricks, and 5 lessons for useful false cuts and shuffles.

While these tricks don't need any sleights, many of them require some amount of deck preparation (from just putting a few cards at one end of the deck, to putting the whole deck in a specific order). There are only one or two that can be performed with an unprepared deck handed to you.

Pros: many of these tricks are truly amazing and will baffle fellow magicians, even though no sleights are used. Everything is completely explained, including variations in presentation.

Cons: for many of these you will need to prepare the deck beforehand. A couple of the tricks have boring counting phases (I won't be using those ones). One of the tricks requires you to permanently bend a card in a borrowed deck (not a fan of that kind of thing).

Botton line, even if you only find a few of these tricks fit your style, they are mind blowers and might be finishers for your act. In any case, all are good for those new to the craft looking for really impressive tricks that are within their abilities to perform (and much easier for beginners to learn than trying to figure out directions in books).

I LOVE magic. But I am new to performing card tricks. I can not perform any sleight. This download has so many wonderful self working effects. The first one alone has amazed people to the point where that one trick was worth the entire cost. Some of them as so amazing I still don't know how they work. If you are a beginner - or even a seasoned veteran (a world class, famous magician was the one who told me about this DVD series) -you will be astounded by what you will learn.

I am a hobbyist magician and I just got this video and I am very happy with my purchase. If you are like me then you have 10 thumbs and little patience for mastering all the card sleights to perform a trick. This video eliminates all that frustration. I would say that Contact Colors and Shuffle Bored are my favorites although the others are good as well. The tricks require memorization of steps but no fancy moves. They allow you to relax and have fun with the trick. I performed Contact Colors for a lady who absolutely loves magic and it was "mind blown".
