I received my Pocket and at first was excited about it but when I realized that I had to sew a thread on the outside pocket of my jackets, I was not happy. It should have said that in the promo because I don't like the idea of sewing my nice jackets.

this is effect is amazing. once you set the gimmick on your jacket your ready to go. the set up of the trick itself takes less than a second.. and you can come up with your own ideas. i came up with one as soon as i saw the video and it worked perfect. BUY IT!!! it is so worth it. one of the best tricks i've buy. and you can do it with a dress shirt too. i give it 5 stars because the effect looks great. when i saw how it was done i had my expectations a little low because i thought it was noticeable but as soon as i did it.. it changed my mind.. perfect trick. flawless!

This effect works as advertised and demonstrated BUT the writeup fails to mention that you MUST be wearing a jacket. If a jacket is part of your performing costume then this effect is for you. If you do not wear a jacket you might pass on this.

this effect is very impresive and when you see the gimmick, you are going to say is amazing!!

the only bad thing for me is there are too much setup involved and a lot of work for making the gimmick, and i am too lazy for constructing the gimmick.

but if you dont mind to take some time on making gimmicks, you are going to enjoy the effect.

i gave it 5 stars because the trick deserve it.

Pocket is based on a great idea and is a very visual piece of magic. However, the gimmick that you have to make might ruin your jacket, can be a little bit hard to execute without proper audience management skills and is not as practical as it could have been. But overall this is an OK trick. You might give it a try.

This is a rather clever utility for changing a visible card or similar object for another whilst your hands are nowhere near the scene. The 'needlework' can be improved (made less visible) but otherwise it's great.

Just to clarify, I didn't purchase this from Penguin, but I'm still going to write a review here.
You are sent materials to create a gimmick, not the gimmick itself. The reason for this is because everyone's clothing is different and you need to adjust it to your own fitting.
The video teaches you very well how to construct the gimmick into your clothing. You will need to know that this requires threading a needle through your jacket/dress shirt/blazer/etc. Probably not a good idea to use this with a really expensive suit or something. It shouldn't mess up any of your clothes, it's basically just a little utility that is attached to you. Most of the materials that are given are things that you probably already have at your desk at work, but they are still provided so that's nice. The construction took me about 30 minutes (I messed up the first time) and it can get a little frustrating but overall not too bad. The trick worked a lot better than I thought it would. I've been rather disappointed with other Sansminds products but this one was surprisingly useful. You will probably need to practice for around 10 minutes before you will be ready to show this to someone, it's pretty easy. The video covers a full performance and is shot very nicely and in-depth. You'll probably come up with your own applications anyways, the performance provided is a basic card trick. All I have to say is: if you use a dress shirt, blazer, jacket, or anything with a pocket in its side for performing, this will probably be worth your money.
