This effect is a new take on magicians choice, where the magician basically talks the spectator into
a circle before wrongly reconstructing the process of what happened. There are no gimmicks,
everything is examinable, however it is HEAVILY reliant on the magician's ability to use
patter/verbage in his favor.
Personally, I like clear cut brainwave effects where the
spectator feels like they had free selection without the wishy washy patter.
A decent
effect nonetheless.

Honestly, I had high hopes for this effect. I really like Mark Elsdon, but this version of Max
Maven's B'Wave is a serious step back in clarity, premise and effect.
The decision to turn
the force card face up is made by the magician and NOT the participant. This is terrible. The
premise is no longer about a prediction. The blank kicker ending, presentationally, doesn't support
the prediction.
The presentation is all about what the magician did with the cards before
hand and not about the choices the participant has made.
I am really pissed about how bad
this is. No joke.

I am a huge fan of Brain Wave effects. The original is great. 52 B'Wave is my go to effect and now
B"Voque will be my go to when I don't want to carry around more than one deck. Mark goes over the
principals and subtleties very well. You can't go wrong. I like it.

You'll need to really get your equivoque straight for this, but once you have it right, it's pretty
much unfathomable...
