OK so here's the deal when I buy an effect or download I will audience test the effect or effect's
at least twice and for every effect on this download I got amazing reactions for surbe I actually
had a spectator say "OMG I could hear the sugar joining together like magnets".(not the method)
KM control: This is an amazing impromptu card control that uses a utility move in magic that I
have never seen used like this in this context. overall:5/5
Spooning: A slow visual vanish
of a spoon that is great for table hopping in a café and here is the best bit, after you make the
spoon re appear you make it jump from around your elbow to your hand and you end clean once a
certain item is removed from the equation. overall: 5/5
Surbe: an effect where a packet
of loose sugar forms into a solid sugar cube. This gimmick is super easy to make and super fun to
mess with, if you choose the right time and place for this effect you will get amazing reactions.
overall:5/5
Kyle Marlett's TRKS is amazing! The effects were easy to do and set up and it was only . I had a
little difficulty with the video because it kept freezing but it was most likely my WiFi but I would
highly recommend this
I really enjoyed this download! First off, each one if these tricks are worth $10 each. Kyle
really put a lot of heart and effort into the download. It was extremely well produced and
entertaining to watch. Kyle is also a great teacher. I hope he comes out with more product of this
quality.
I love the deceptiveness of the card control. The fact that while you're being so
fair to show the card one last time makes me smile when I was practicing it. I'm going to use this
control.
The spoon but was awesome, quick and visual which is good for today's ADD
audience. This one is a real winner.
The sugar cube trick is so fun to perform. I
performed for a group of kids today and it got a huge reaction. So easy too. I could just focus on
my performance and making it fun.
Just got TRKS through Kyle's website. What impressed me more about KM card control, is that I had to
watch it three times during the first part of the explanation, because it is very deceptive. Even
though all details are neatly covered, I fooled my self while watching, while learning, and of
course while practicing it. Definitely a winner. It's a great principle that can be used and
combined with many possibilities, I'd say it goes somewhere between easy and easy/intermediate but
beginners can do it with no effort at all. The action happens in a good resting moment, so it's
virtually fumbling proof.
Spooning got me since I saw the ad, pure visual magic, and the
best thing is that it's an automatic attention catcher. When people see a magician holding a spoon,
they immediately think about mentalism and spoon bending, so this is definitely like Uri Geller
meets David Copperfield and they create something for the Instagram/Snapchat generation. I'm sure
downloading TRKS is much cheaper, though much more effective, than paying to promote a video on
Facebook, just do a video performing it, and people will share spontaneously. It is that strong!
Definitely a must-buy. And c'mon, for 10 bucks? More than awesome. Congrats Kyle! You def
have a new fan from Brazil
For ten bucks, this download is a steal. In a world where a single trick or move could cost you
10-15 bucks, getting three for that price is fantastic.
On this download you learn two
effects and one card sleight. The effects are perfect for coffee house or restaurant magic and the
sleight is a fun little card control.
KM Control - This is the first thing you learn on
the download. It's very angle friendly and really easy to do. There is a bit of setup you have to
do, but Kyle covers how to get into this in a very natural way. What I really liked about this move
is that you pretty much are displaying the card right up to the moment you place it back in the
deck, so it's great for those spectators who insist on watching you place their card back in the
pack.
Spooning - Kyle describes this as a manipulation routine for walk around magic. The
gimmick actually reminds me of Autobend Silverware by Devin Knight, so if you already perform that
effect, you could easily utilize that gimmick to perform Spooning. What I really liked about this
one was how Kyle went into the psychology behind the vanish. He explains how it should look if you
really did have magic powers and how to make sure that that is the image the spectator has in their
mind. It's very visual and if you already do magic with spoons/forks, I could easily see using this
as a segue into any other spoon/fork routine, since you end with a completely clean piece of
silverware.
Surbe - The final effect taught on this download is a really cool production
of a sugar cube inside a sealed sugar packet. I don't do a lot of coffeehouse magic, mainly because
I don't drink coffee, but this is actually something I would use. I think this is a perfect effect
if you want to casually do some magic for friends. This is the only thing on Trcks that takes more
than a minute to build, but honestly the gimmick is so easy to make, this wasn't a problem for me. I
loved how visual it looked in the trailer, and I can't wait to try this out next time I'm hanging
out with some friends for lunch.
Overall I really enjoyed this project. It was a total
impulse buy for me, and I'm really glad I picked it up. Like I said for ten bucks you get three
tricks, so it's totally worth it. Great job Kyle!
TRKS by Kyle Marlett
As an avid restaurant worker, these effects are very appealing to me. I
think all three tricks are well within the grasp of any magician, even the beginner. Kyle always puts
emphasis on having a visual nature to everything he puts out. And these are no exception.
1)KM Control
This is a really nice and fun control. There is an economy of motion that
makes it work and look completely natural. That is the most important thing when controlling cards.
This is smooth and has a low level of difficulty. I'm a move-monkey, so I love adding stuff like
this to my repertoire. I'll be using this later today. Overall, it's a solid control that I believe
a lot of you will enjoy.
2)Spooning
This is an interesting vanish of a spoon that is
very easy to learn. The effect is kind of a mini quick eye candy manipulation act. I have yet to try
this out,but I'm looking forward to giving it a go. I can see myself doing this my restaurants. It's
extremely deceptive as there is little cover during the vanish of the spoon. And the transposition
at the end makes for a very surprising and clean finish. Spooning is super easy to learn and has a
very high visual factor to it. I dig this one a lot.
3)Surbe
A sugar cube that
appears inside a sugar packet? Visually?! Yes please! This is so cool! You literally see the packet
get bigger and bigger! I love this. This will also be going into my walk around sets. I love giving
away souvenirs, and this leaves them with sweet one(Get it?!)! You take a sugar packet, and right at
the finger tips it starts to grow in the middle. Then you rip it open and pour out a sugar cube into
their hands. Awesome. And it looks amazing! This one is a little bit more difficult to perform than
the other two effects. But with a little bit of practice, you'll be all good. There is some prep
time involved, but if you do it ahead of time, you can repeat this over and over. This is definitely
a worker though. It's visual, you leave them with a souvenir and it's an organic effect. It makes
sense.
Instruction
Kyle is very thorough in his explanations of the tricks. He is
direct and to the point, which I like. The whole video is about 40 mins and is the perfect length
for this kind of download.
This a fantastic deal for only . Three strong, visual effects that
are easy to learn and relatively easy to perform. You will not be disappointed. Get this today!
