This DVD set is one of the best I have ever owned. His thoughts on audience management and routine development are interesting and versatile, whether applied in performance strolling one-on-one, at a child's birthday party (with promotional suggestions for getting further gigs from on-looking parents) in performance at a restaurant table, or at a corporate event. His simple strategies for keeping audience involvement at a venue too large or distracting for one entertainer are useful, as are his ideas on how a magician should bring the party with him/her, rather than come to the party as "the entertainment" offer a nice change of perspective. This DVD set offers good information and routines for both seasoned magicians and novices alike. At a recent dinner party when somebody said "Hey, show us something quick," I performed one of his tricks and got a nice surprise finish. As I sat down, I heard the smiling host say aloud, "But... I shuffled the cards twice!"

This is one of the best DVD sets that I've purchased in a long time.

The tricks are great! It is obvious that these routines have been worked, perfected, and polished over years of performances.

I love it when a real worker is willing to share their pet routines that they have actually been using to make a living.

When you get this, don't skip over the interview sections. There are pieces of gold in there as well, that will be useful to anyone who's actually out there working.

I marathoned these DVDs like a Netflix series. The interview on the first DVD is full of great information that you can put into action right away. He explains why he never gets heckled, and how to keep 13-year-olds engaged (seriously awesome ideas here), and how to approach a NYC audience. The rest of the material will take work.

He gives a lot of great material at break-neck speed. None of the routines he does are middlers -- everything he teaches is strong magic. His mem deck work was the highlight for me, along with his coin and napkin routine on disk one. I really liked the Drop Box and Card on Seat on the Roving DVD.

I bought this DVD because I saw Will perform at a wedding…and the guests wouldn't shut up about him. This DVD is real material created by a real working pro and I loved it."

This DVD is so fantastic when I met him myself he was so great and good at misdirections this DVD is worth getting there is so many good sleights just like his wonderful Full cut Palm and his awesome ! Super hero I recommend this DVD .

Full disclosure, Will is a good friend and I have seen him destroy laymen and magicians with this material.

Shock and Aww, Through & Through/Over & Under and Chan to Chanel are phenomenal routines - they start off incredibly strong, have a series of quick climaxes and end with a killer finish.

The Sentinel and World’s Toughest Card Trick each contain an incredible surprise that the audience just doesn’t see coming. Oh yah, and they’re magician foolers.

Will not only teaches phenomenal material he also explains his thinking behind the routines and this is where these DVDs shine. The explanations and performance commentaries contain valuable insight regarding pacing, Will’s performance philosophy, his approach when greeting a new group, how to make a series of tricks feel like “a show”, the types of tricks that he performs for different audiences, and strategies that he uses to get them on his side.

I would also highly recommend listening to the 30 minute interview and reading his 17 page essay.

If you are looking to perform close up magic for real people, buy these DVDs. Immediately!

This guy is good. I mean, really good. I'm a fulltime pro in New York City ... I had no idea that a magician of this caliber was in my backyard. (I really should get out more magic conventions).

Will really inspired me. He has the chops - he performs some advanced stuff - but he works in some simple gaffs in very surprising ways. (Yes, he fooled me, and I should know better).

I was most interested in his walk-around (one DVD of the three, the other two are his shows at the Castle). He has real-world experience and advice that I put to work right away.

Loved "Chicago Times" ... his twist on Chicago Opener - Red Hot Mama and the subtleties he added. His Shock & Awe is powerful. His Full Cut Palm is undetectable. Really good.
