I'm sending this back for sure. This is difficult to explain without tipping the method. Basically
the trailer is misleading, and in most of the shots you see, they aren't doing the real effect.
They are cheating, using only the gimmick without the deck. It's one thing to cut out a bit in a
video to prevent reverse engineering, but to use a cheat method is another thing entirely. Also,
you can only do this if you're wearing a certain color.
The gimmick is constructed
poorly, a prototype at best, and will not last long at all. I can't imagine the construction
nightmare if you were to have to make another after the first inevitably quickly wears out.
Unless you want something that you can do for youtube and then never show someone in person,
save your money.

I have to disagree with the two posted reviews, with the caveat that not everyone will love this.
It's not perfect and obviously some are going to hate it as well, however it's gotten very good
reviews from most real review sites. It's not a trick you can just pick up and perform. The handling
will take a little practice to do correctly, you'll have to pay attention to angles and to lighting
and you'll probably need some audience management skills. The payoff though is an illusion that
floors people in their tracks. Unless you're telegraphing what you're doing, the effect is over and
done before specs know what has hit them. While some have thought it's not a walk around trick, It's
more than workable in close up as long as you're not six inches away and paying attention to
surroundings. It flat out kills live, I haven't had a problem yet. People flip out. With a little
thought you can get around even using part of the gimmick which simplifies the presentation
dramatically. The quality of the gimmick is fine. It won't last forever because it's a piece of
pasteboard but it will last for a very long time unless you're a bull in a china shop. The secondary
part of the gimmick can be easily altered to fit clothing with some ingenuity to make it less shiny
if that's worrisome to you as a few purchasers have noted.
There's a nice video review
posted in the Magic Cafe that shows a tremendous alternate handling and mixed with a few other
effects for a great routine. I can't really think of a way to determine if you will like this or
not. If you're looking for a trick you can do anywhere at anytime, you might be disappointed. This
isn't that and it isn't meant to be. If you like Lawrence's thinking and other effects you'll
probably be pleased by this as well. I can't think of a comparable trick, but as an example if you
found Imprint to be unworkable or too knacky then you probably won't like this either but if you
like that then you'll probably love this. Both are insanely visual and if you take the time to make
them work you'll destroy people.

In the past I haven't been happy with sansminds running of business recently. But I don't want that
to effect this review and I'll honest right now... This is very good. Some people are saying the
trailer is misleading, I say Jason is just good at performing the effect. When I think back,
Nicholas has never disappointed me, he is a fantastic creator and this creation proves it to the
limit as the box can instantly be handed out with no switch!!! WTF! I know!
Some people
complain about the construction, however I think this has been dealt with as my gimmick came fully
constructed but I saw on the dvd it was teaching stuff that had already been done for me! The
gimmick is very well made and easy to understand once you watch the dvd!
I have only 2
negatives for this project. The area the sharpie goes through seems bigger than sharpie, but I don't
think the spectator will notice I just like the way alakazam do their gimmicks a bit more. My second
negative is the angles, and risk of 'windows' giving it away. Again this will just come down to
practise and audience management and so for that reason I wouldn't really recommend this too
beginners! Overal though I will give the is an 8/10 for creative original thinking from Nick and the
gimmicks coming premade. More like this sansminds!!!

This trick is very good. The idea is great. You can't do this surrounded so you need to manage your
audience. But angles are not so bad. There is a clothes restriction, but it just make the tricks
less angles sensitive. I definitely would recommand this trick which require a bit of practice but
is very worth it.
Have fun with it!
Enjoy

The quality of the gimmick is ok , a bit of construction is required , it's not that good and
anyways I am returning my dvd cause I did not receive one small magnet which was supposed to be in
the dvd . Not happy with my purchase .

i am just doing magic for about 6 months 7 at least and i only really started buying from sansminds
with about now myself owning 7 tricks or so and i have been pleased with most purchases and
especially this one. I have to disagree with most reviews here, this gimmick comes in parts already
built by sansminds something i am happy with since most of their items are diy, i find it great they
pre built it for me. however, this gimmick is flimsy and if you move a lot and are a stroll around
magician this might wear out real quick if you are rough, but the gimmicks main part which requires
the main execution might only work properly half of the time due to how its pre made. i have to also
disagree that this is not ideal to pickup and preform, it is, if you have put in the time like i am.
its fairly easy to fix and make a second one but you may need to get a creators kit.
this
is practical and the best gimmick i have purchased so far and will continue buying from sansminds.
this is something every magician should have and if you are still skeptical please really take my
word for it, it is well worth buying.
The shipping went perfect and the package arrived earlier than expected :D
The Gimmick was
pretty good constructed and I wasn't able to see it at first. I'm using it since about 3 Weeks and
it's still not worn out.
The only two bad things are, that I haven't received all the
magnets ( but they aren't that necessary) and the price. I find 40 dollars a little bit over
expensive but if you have a look at what you're going to get, it's definitely worth it :D
