Very nice routine and easy to perform.
The only draw back is you can only perform this once to the same audience. Otherwise, you must purchase the additional movie package...

After loving (or liking a lot) Classic Cinema Verite, I thought this might be a nice companion piece -- and I liked the video. I had some idea how the both effects worked, but I was feeling expansive and sprang for the $55.

The second effect (the appearance of the cover) is problematic, but not out of the question. The problem was the DVD -- it required maintenance almost immediately and that proved to create its own problems, which I tried to fix rather than attempt a return. The fix just made things worse. The thing is now unusable.

If I was making a lot of money using this effect, I would buy replacements when needed. But for the hobbyist, it's just not practical.

Finally, an email to the maker about expansion packs (which might solve my problem) went unanswered.

Cost: $55. Value: Lesson learned.

simple to do & great impact on audience

This shocked and fooled even magicians, especially the last reveal. It is well taught, along with good tips and advice. I wouldn't recommend handing out for examination, especially the case. They're already holding the dvd for the first reveal, and that is fine, as long as it's put back in its case for the next reveal. Gee magic's site offers other reveals but very pricey for a set and it would have been nice if you could choose what you want and how many. Overall , Great effect and worth getting.
