Effect:

The magician places a coin or ring inside a wooden box which is closed with the sliding lid. The magician may shake the box to make sure the coin or ring is inside which is confirmed by a rattle sound. The magician can give the box to the audience to shake the box but there is no sound and then they open the box but nothing is inside. The coin or ring has completely vanished from inside the box and will be produced from some other places.

At first glance, the box looks very nice, but the place in the box where a ring is supposed to go is very small. Most rings will not fit into it. If I do end up performing this, I’ll have to search for the right size ring that will fit. The rattle mechanism isn’t great either. Sometimes the gimmick will get stuck and I have to fiddle with it so it’ll make the noise. I really wanted it to work for me, but I’m a little disappointed.
