I bought from Penguin and really, really do not like Tornado Box. Here are my issues:

1) This effect is not presentable for close-up (as in right in front of a spectator). The gimmick does not look "seamless" like the promo or instructional video even 3-4 feet away in relatively poor lighting.

2) The gimmick is very noisy. Not good at all for quiet rooms or intimate performances

3) The gimmick is not examinable at all. Assuming you get past my #1 and #2 issues during a real-world performance and were able to perform a miracle, you most certainly cannot pass out the box for examination if requested. And, people will ask to see the box.

What's a trick that meets my very reasonable requirements? Little Door. Can be performed practically in front of spectator's face under any lighting conditions, it's a silent gimmick, you end super clean and can even hand them the box.

I broke some basic magic purchase rules when pulling the trigger on this purchase...sometimes it's best to stay away from tricks that don't provide full spectator performance videos. Also, there were no big-name testimonials. (Big-name testimonials aren't always a good gauge, but their recommendation can be a helpful deciding factor)

I cannot recommend this at all. If you perform for real people in diverse settings and not just in front of your mirror, there's a good chance you’re going to be extremely disappointed.

Best trick by Mickael Chatelain. Everything is great about this trick. The only downside is the sound it makes when the change happens. Everyone ask whats that clicking noise but other than that the trick is awesome!!!!! This trick will probably sell out quick.

MC has done it again! I cannot put into words how great this product is. I have been a loyal supporter of Mickael Chatelain and his work however when I received this it was completely exceeding all of my expectations. It's not made of the way people may think it is and even if it is what you think it's built so well and will work on any red box of cards if you get it in red.

I don't have anything bad to say about this there is one little thing that might be A little problematic to some but not to me it's just a little bit of practice to maintain that from being as noticeable with the sound it may make however it's not noticeable to me especially when you're performing or even doing it in a room with noise. Other than that there's obviously a few things that people might comment on ano be a little concerned about but I'm not at all , regarding angle issues or things like that it's pretty well covered but if you hold it normal without making yourself seem skeptical being confident just like anything with practice you will be a pro in a half hour. You'll find yourself playing with this utility trick creating your own ideas and how you can use it for so many different things In coordination with other products you might have all the time as it is that addicting.

please understand that this is not just a gimmick one and only special InK effect... this is a utility device that you can use for anything that you think of it does not have to be for cards it can be for any kind of Revelation you want to do of course you will use it with cards if you're a person who will put this on a box of cards. I am so grateful for this purchase it is definitely the best purchase I have made this year hands down and I see this blowing up selling out very fast and that's why I'm going to purchase two more. You get everything you need and you'll be performing it within less than five minutes and he has a 17 minute video very short the understanding and setting up takes less than 10 minutes the rest is his ideas which are brilliant and you get about 10 of them Plus your imagination is the infinite limit , I have a great routine that combines this with double cross. One of the routines MC teaches in the video uses Two gimmicks and I love it so much getting A couple of more as I said. For what you get in this package compared to other effects that do Visual things like this and the price it is so affordable my routine using this with double cross and even little Door all makes a great combo. I had to leave a great review of this because it blew me away after realizing how it worked because it takes me a little bit to understand that ah ha moment of realizing how it works and certain things that you don't really see you until you get to the point where you don't realize the gimmick might do more than you think. Every single download or purchase/CGI or Ink related effect you will be tossing in your arsenal collecting dust as this is in the forefront always on you.

Welcome to tornado box where you have a world to do anything you want whether it's simply drawing a prediction that changes, word, cards, rising cards, writing in Braille, X's- exes , drawing and object and making it appear out of nowhere and so on. Never have I reviewed a product, but felt like I should say something about this. I'm no pro nor do I make money with magic. I just enjoy it, collect it, and break out a few things at home, work, or out and about. This can only be done on a stage or far away. This can not be examined. It is decently made and the effect looks pretty good from a distance. But it's nothing I could break out and get away with. And yes, there is a bit of a noise. I'm giving it 4 stars because I think it would be good for certain people under certain circumstances.

Great product with so much possibilities!
I did a mentalism trick at the IBM 185 meeting last night
and Tornado Box rocked the house.
This morning I told the baristas at Starbucks that I will draw 3 coffee drinks
on my card box and you will know exactly what I want. The drawings then morphed into my order written in detail above the coffee drinks. They were
totally blow away and wished they had more customers
like me.

I bought this because it looked great on the trailer.
And again after 5 years of "no purchasing anything until I see it in front of me" I made the mistake and bought a product from watching the video.
The idea is great as you can see on the trailer.
But the sound that is happening when the gimmick is "working" is too loud.
Also you can't be close to your audience because from the side they will see that something is "strange".
Another product ended in my drawer.

Nicely made and clever as can be--and has a million uses!
