A killer, almost self-working small packet triumph with three incredible climaxes!

Comes with 6 special gaff cards

MIXED PERCEPTION

Effect:
The spectator selects any six cards from the deck. The cards are removed and one selected.

The magician then flips three cards face up and clearly interlaces them between the other three face down cards. As he squares up the packet, the magician explains that there are three magical ways to distinguish the selection from the other five cards.

The magician gives the packet a twist and WITH NO FUNNY MOVES AT ALL, spreads the cards. All of the cards are now face down except the selection!

The magician then removes the selection and gives it a rub on his sleeve. The card is turned over and is now seen to have a different colored back!

As if that wasn't enough, the other five cards are turned over and they now have blank faces!

One fun part about this packet trick is that it uses cards that are apparently pulled from a regular deck, so you can make it seem even more powerful by making it look like a random selection.

Besides some written instructions, you also get access to a digital download with a video tutorial that's a little over 15 minutes long. The moves involved with this trick require a little more card handling skill (no Elmsley though), but the payoff can be worth it. Even so, the difficulty level is at most intermediate, so it's still well within the reach of most people who already have some experience with card magic.

The strength of this trick is that it has three separate climaxes, each stronger than the last. Together, these three phases produce a series of increasing surprises, giving the trick a pleasant sense of narrative. From the perspective of the spectator, everything seems completely legit. Obviously it doesn't end clean, but as long as you can manage your audience to prevent them trying to examine the cards, you're set to produce a small miracle.

Worst possible instructions. This trick reverts back to the 90's with written very small instructions.

Cameron Francis is an outstandingly creative card magician. With Mixed Perception he has done it again. It's fun, it's fairly easy to perform, and it's very commercial. Great reactions. Go Francis!
