There are two main effects on the download, the first is a signed card to clear box, and the second is a torn and restored card.


Signed card to box:
I have David Regal's Clarity Box, which is great, but honestly I prefer this version. It seems to be both more practical and more convincing.


T+R card:
The T+R card looks extremely clean, and it is almost impossible to see the method even if you know what to look for and are burning the performer's hands. The only downside for some people may be that the card is not signed (in the first effect the card is signed), however the presentation makes this seem natural.


As mentioned in the ad copy, the methods require that you have a PK ring. This makes the handling quite easy for the T+R card, which requires practically no sleight of hand. Similarly, the key part of the card to clear box - usually the part of the routine which has the most 'heat' - is also quite easy to do and very deceptive. You will need to make a gimmick for each trick, but these seem really easy to make.


Bonus segment:
There is also a bonus segment where showing various poker chip moves, essentially coin moves with a poker chip that utilize the ring, which may appeal to some performers.


What I liked most about the download:
- Very well shot/produced, with very clear explanations
- Several "real-world" performances of each effect
- The effects look really clean and extremely practical for a walkaround setting - you could basically be surrounded with spectators burning your hands, and the methods will still be invisible. You can also tell that Colin has successfully performed these effects hundreds of times in real-world settings.


It says that this is episode 1 of a series, and I look forward to the next episode!

I really like Colin’s style. Although he puts a new spin on both the card to box and torn and restored card I have already purchased what I thought was the method from other creators. It was the routining that sold me. I would have like to see more of his work on the poker chips as a routine.

Colin's thinking is great, and if the PK is just lying in your draw, its time to use it in some real world effects.

These effects are commercial, well routined and make an IMPACT!

Colin Underwood is a modern day Mcgyver vs Tony Stark, i really appreciated the high quality production footage, full performance of every effect is shown and explained in detail.

Colin has taken classic plots and turned them into gems with meticulous detail, no stone is left unturned. Prepare for some arts and crafts your in for a real treat with things you probably have at home.

You will get practical advice on angles, and performance tips by a performer who has real world experience working for the paying public.

I also enjoyed Colins wonderful sense of humor his wit and energy.

He also went into the background of each effect and gave you a sense that he has been working on these routines for quit a number of years, the progression in small improvements overtime has made these effects reputation makers, that is something that is rare in a download of this quality.

I cant wait for the next episode to come out, i am biting my nails in anticipation.
