So it's a boring classic, but it's VERY well done. Regarding one reviewer's "it smells" comment I
have to unfortunately agree. There WAS a super stinky chemically smell. It went away fairly soon but
it did exist. For me? Didn't mean anything beyond a temporary weirdness.
Right out of the
box and within literally 2 minutes I produced my cell phone out of nowhere and my wife said, "Ok, I
know how this works but I couldn't visually see anything happening." Meaning. Even when you know how
this works? It works very well. Very well. Time honored method. Well done effect.
FYI, I
will be heavily modifying this for another purpose. I have no doubt it will work.

I've had Square Cirlces that cost nearly 17 times the price that were not deceptive at all from a
the back of an auditorium compared to this being deceptive inches away...

People are the same as they always were, and are fooled as always, so this production device works
fine for parlor work, and probably small stage work.
The only mods I had to do were: 1)
extending the top of the tube a little with black felt to avoid objects near the top being revealed
from certain angles at the front and 2) raising the bottom of the inside of the tube as my hand was
too big to get in and reach to the bottom for the last object.
Just received my order which included the China Mystery Square Circle by Mr. Magic and when I opened
the package it stunk so bad I had to put it out in the garage! It smells like toxic chemicals! I
also purchased the passé-passé bottles by Mr. Magic and they smell toxic as well. I can’t believe
Penguin Magic would mail these to me as they are putting off such a strong toxic chemical smell,
there is no way the person packing the order didn’t smell it... Ridiculous!
