This trick is great to learn for the underlying principle and hookup. The pen that was supplied broke as I was trying to remove the nib per video instruction. I glued it back together and will see if it is salvageable. In fairness, the video warns against over-zealousness when trying to remove the nib.I think tis is a good buy. Learning the hookup and system alone is worthwhile.

The sharpie broke on the first try. Is way to easy too easy to break I am gonna have to do one myself since this was a bust. I wouldn’t buy this again just for the quality of the items provided

This like all thread work in finicky. If you don’t work with thread it will take some time. But this is self contained as it’s explained in the video. This effect is great for creating a moment, really good for tv or Instagram. I would say this likely won’t go into your set as a regular piece but it will have a time and place.

Be patient, practice, and you will perform a great miracle with this.
