To provide another perspective from the negative review, the rings are VERY well made (nearly
invisible welds, heavy chrome finish) and the gimmick IS new and unlike anything I've seen. Although
the new key ring is not "high-tech" (no flaps, magnets, trap doors, etc.) it is still ingenious.
More importantly, you can do ALL the traditional Ninja Rings moves with this set (although the rings
are slightly larger at 5") PLUS you have the ability with the new key ring to link in a chain of
four and display by holding the chain from the top ring, balanced on one finger! Yes, eye level of
your spectators needs to be managed (not difficult), but any working performer can handle this and
know when this display is practical. Oh, did I mention that the rings are incredibly high quality
for $45? There isn't another set out there near that price offering what the Melero Rings does.
Highly recommended for the worker or serious hobbyist.

I received these rings today and I'm very disappointed in them. Without saying too much, I will just
say that this is basically not a new gimmick. Plus, for me at least, the rings are too hard, very
little give or take with them. There is a feature on the key ring that is different, but it does
not help me in making it smoother. This reminds me of the disappointment many felts when ordering
the so-called "Melt" rings a couple of years back. If you are good at the rings, then this may just
be up your ally. With arthritis in my hands (which makes even typing now more difficult) these
rings are not what I had hoped for. There is really not much to see here. The price is reasonable
for good, standard linking rings as that is basically what your getting.

Okay, the rings arrived today and here is my review:
First, Michael O'Briens'review
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49nJgzlyEwo) is spot on, they are, in fact, very good rings for the
money. They come with a nice case, which is a good addition at this price point. If you look
closely, you can see where they were welded (mine have a slight tarnish on that spot). This is nit
picky, especially for the price. If you are expecting a new, space-age, high-tech gimmick, you will
be disappointed. I figured it out, before purchasing, from watching 3 different reviews. This new
key ring will, however, allow you to do a clean display of the rings, if the audience is directly in
front of you. Like Chessmann pointed out, you will need to note the orientation of the key ring. I
was thinking about asking a machinist to add this to my 6" rings and things rings set. I do not
think, however, that this new key ring would work for sets larger than 6". And yes, you will be able
to do all of the routines that you normally do with a four ring set.
The routines and
teaching are very good. I found myself wondering,"hey, which one is the key ring?" a few times
during the performances. There are no words, but the over the shoulder shots are nice. There are
subtitles, but there where some phases in which they were noticeably missing and really needed. I
also must say that I miss chapters in tutorial videos. There is an hour of teaching, which is
wonderful in today's, "15 minute explanation" marketplace. I will also be joining Michael
O'Briens'page to get his routine. It is a bargain at $1 a month!
Okay, so if you are
looking for a "magician fooler," miracle gimmick, keep your $ in your wallet. I personally, have
never understood the desire for effects that are "magicians foolers"because, I never made any $ off
of magicians! (I could write an essay on "magician foolers.") Do you need this set, if you already
have a good one? The answer is no, unless, of course, you want to do a clean display of the rings
when the audience is directly in front of you. If you are looking for good routines and teaching
along with a solid affordable set of rings, look no further. (I and many are others eagerly awaiting
an expansion pack.)I recommend these, but then again, who the f__k am I!

I like these. The "new" key ring does make a difference. I have some older rings of a similar
size, and the Melero rings look more "real" when linked. Good work! I learned a couple of
interesting changes on things I have been doing for years!
The video was good, but could be
better, particularly when handling all four rings at once. This is what needs to be practiced (but
it is worth it).
The case is perfect.

I do have to say these are a very nice set of rings. I am just beginning to fool around with the
linking rings. I figured that the Melero Rings would be a good place to start although his routine
is kind of difficult but im really wanting to work at it to get it down. His special key ring is a
really nice feature but i probably want be using that feature. Well anyway a very nice set of rings
and is highly recommended.
This is a very well thought out set of linking rings. They are designed for functionality and are
high quality.
I prefer a brighter bell tone, but for that level of quality the rings would
certainly quadruple in price.
I have always worked with 10 inch rings and performed The
Symphony of the Rings, and few years back tried to move to an 8 inch ring with a thicker gauge then
these and found they did not weave very well. If I had set of 8 of these...
Having
performed The Symphony for so many years, I had gotten to the point where I started off the routine
by showing the key ring. Just getting that out of the way, and then of course disproving it is
impossible for one key ring to do it all.
These rings kill it. No more showing the key
ring, but showing there is no key ring. It's bold, its brilliant and worth the investment and the
time to master.
I have bought many ring sets over the years, large, small, magnetic, ninja, but I really like the
Melero rings best, right now. The subtle design difference and the great routines taught are really
exceptional. I only wish it had come with one more ring, but that I can easily remedy. If you are
looking for an anywhere ring routine that really entertains, this is it.
