I was so pleased to open my bashful lock package when it arrived and open the lock. However, the item appeared as if it had been stored for a long time in a not too dry area as a small part of the edge looked slightly pitted and not pristine. The reason I purchased it was because I once owned one 50 years ago. It was nice and fun to play with it again. I often wondered it I could use it to lock something because so few people know the secret behind the lock.
