I love this prop. It is easy to handle and great for impromptu magic. Plus, this gimmick looks
real too! It grips pretty well (up right) and if you want to use it side ways then you can get
"Magnet Up" and use it that way as well.
This product is soft and compact so you can carry
it in your pocket and be ready to perform at the drop of a top hat. So, if you're looking for a
great "third hand", then this can be something you might want to grab right away because when they
are gone...they are gone. And at this price point, it's worth it!

The Hottrix Handzup remains the best quality version of this type of feke that I've come across.
Outside of having one custom-made by a Hollywood prosthetics/make-up artist this is the best one
I've used. I've tried the Yoshino version and the Quique Marduk version (both Yoshino and Marduk
versions also available on Penguin as of this writing). I'd say in terms of realism/quality they
are in this order:
1.) Hottrix Handzup - Best
2.) Yoshino - Very Good
3.) Q. Marduk - Good, but not as good as Yoshino.
The main issue for me is that both
the Yoshino and the Marduk are too small for me , not a good match to my hand. If the Yoshino size
matched my hand better I would say it was equal to Handzup. For me , the size and color of the
Handzup , straight out of the box , is the best match for me. ("your mileage may vary", as the
saying goes). I mention color because all of these type of fekes, including Handzup, should ideally
have some customization done using an airbrush or make-up to get a good match in terms of color,
which in this case is important because the feke is in plain view for much longer (unlike for
example a TT, where an exact color match is not that important if you're using it correctly). If
you think you'll use this a lot , I'd suggest you buy two (or more) , so you have a back-up, because
this is the type of utility item that sometimes goes off market and then becomes difficult (and
expensive) to obtain.
TIP: all of these type of fekes should be stored in a cool, dry place
, in a plain cardboard box with Silica gel desiccant packet taped to the box lid so it's not in
contact with the feke (which could also inside a zip-lock plastic bag.)

I haven't had a chance to view the instrucional video yet, just looked at the gimmick itself: very
good quality, soft rubber...however, no way to clamp on the side of a board, photos imply it must be
on the top, so, right away, I must change my presentation, unless it can be "fixed" to allow for a
side-mount.
