Imagine a Gambler vs Magician plot where you end up with 4 of a kind in four different pockets! Or a routine so incredible that the spectators shuffle packets, then the 4 aces appear! After that, the spectator gets to pick any number of cards from the piles in front of the aces, only to have you spell each ace and they all come up face up! The remaining cards are spelled in order the aces appear and low and behold, you end up with all four kings IN ORDER! For the finale, the cards in front of the aces and kings (that the spectators shuffled TWICE) end up being ALL the clubs, ALL the hearts, ALL the spades, and ALL the diamonds! And that is only TWO of the effects in this set! Incredible magic that averages out to only a couple bucks per effect. No matter your level of card magic, these routines are done by Dr. Daley, JC Wagner, Larry Jennings, Paul Harris, Darwin Ortiz, and many more and taught step by step by Michael Ammar - perhaps the best teacher of magic in the business (at least on DVD, VHS, or downloads). Do not let the title fool you! Just bc these are easy to master doesn't mean these aren't classics. This entire series contains go to effects for the serious card magician. In this volume, you can take the Gambler vs Magician plot to a whole new level by having four kings (or any 4 of a kind) appear in four different pockets! Or allow the spectators to shuffle packets freely multiple times only to have four aces appear! They then pick any number of cards from those packets and add them to the aces only to have four kings appear by the suit the aces appeared at - and this trick ends by having every card appear from the deck the spectators shuffled in suited order! All the clubs, hearts, spades, and diamonds... and that is just TWO of the effects in this volume! Michael Ammar teaches these classics step by step better than anyone, and no matter your level of card magic, this series will add POWERFUL magic to your repertoire! I have all 9 volumes of ETMCM. I did not buy them from Penguin, but regardless.... These DVDs are Awesome.

On Volume 4 I to this day perform Dunbury Aces. It is a phenomenal "sucker" effect. I love it!

Ammar goes into all kinds of details regarding the effects and what is great are the Inner Secret sessions, which show WHY the trick works and what you need to remember in order to really maximise the punch of the effects.

Michael is a wonderful man, with patience that can test time. He goes through the mechanics of the effects with such respect for the art and really take the time to explain even the most minute detail.

Do yourself a favour - buy one, by them all, I don't care... just buy them. The only thing you will regret is not purchasing them.

I now own volumes one through six of this DVD series, and I have never been happier with a magic investment. I did not buy them in order, but once I watched a couple of them, I knew I wanted to get more. If you truly mastered all the effects in this DVD series, you would truly be a master magician! Some of the effects are more difficult to perform than others, depending on skill level, but they are all worth the time and effort, and can be used to astonish friends and family, or clients and crowds if you are a professional. Highly recommended!

The material on the card miracles dvds is extremely commercial, mind blowing stuff. DVD #4 is no exception. Reset is one of the best packet tricks you can perform. It is incredible. If you are looking for simplicity in execution with a lot of impact, then go no further than this DVD. But you really should own them all they are that good.
This material is well within the grasp of the beginner but good enough for paid performances.
