Well, okay, so no one dies in this effect, we just wanted to get your attention. Here's the effect: A card is selected and replaced back into the deck, which is shuffled and given to the spectator to hold. A black balloon is introduced and a magical gesture is made between the deck and the balloon. The balloon is popped and the selected card is found inside!

The performer then explains "exactly how the effect was accomplished," showing how the selected card was actually held against the side of the balloon, this time using a clear balloon making it easy to follow along. All of a sudden the audience sees the card VISUALLY penetrate through the side of the balloon! The card drops all the way inside the balloon, which can then be handed out for examination!

Comes complete with fully-illustrated booklet, gimmicks and balloons.

This is an absolutely stunning piece of theatre/magic that isn't difficult to perform. This will take practice but it is well worth the effort to learn because it is so disarming to the audience during the first phase, then when you move to phase two...it is trancendent, everyone is taken by surprise. I own this and yet each time I see it performed by someone else I am sucked in and shocked by the second phase all over again even though I know...eventually...how it's done, I still get to experience that feeling of pure magic and wonder that so rarely comes my way anymore.

I have seen some crappy card from balloon routines by some well known magicians. This one is awesome! He has an entire routine that is entertaining and well thought out. You get several gimmicks to make it all happen and they are quality items worth the price. I strongly suggest this one.

I've had this effect for more than 15 years and had great reactions with this over the years. 1st phase is great, 2nd phase is pure magic. Kevin teaches it in his Live lecture which is a good addition to this trick so you get the presentation with it.

This is my first Review, and I am sorry for that, because I don't buy any thing from Penquin with out first reading the reviews. that said this is an awesome trick. this is one of those tricks you will do right out of the box, and done right will blow them away, and by them I mean everyone in the audience. There is a lot of ways to preform this trick,not just the way it shows on the dvd. I am a bar magician, and this is a go to if I have a full house. Also
have your customers video phone the trick, sit back and watch them play it over and over all night, trying to figure it out. Good Luck.
