This is a fantastic trick; go watch the demo before you finish this review.
Done that?
Good. Now you see how good it is.
Anyway, let me start with the gimmick. The gimmick that
this DVD comes with is the same gimmick as the old Bigger Finish; so, the same quality. Well made
and works for tons of performances.
The DVD is REALLY, really nice as well. This DVD is a
full length, high quality DVD that talks about the main handling (that you see in the demo video)
and it goes over some other handlings and subtleties that makes this trick what it is. These are the
things that really make this worth the price.
I highly, highly recommend this trick. Pick
one up today!
This is one of my favorite card effects to perform. The reactions are amazing! First off, the
gimmick is not Bicycle stock but it is good enough. Jay, being an amazing teacher, goes through some
forces and some moves. The handling is very easy and the audience will swear you put four cards into
their hand. One time I actually screwed up and they picked the wrong card. With split-second
thinking I made the trick end as a transpo. The reactions were killer! I highly recommend this from
beginners to pros.
I perform this daily in my routine, and it always kills! Sankey does a great job on teaching and
giving you alternate methods. He also mixes in a bunch of humor and side things. Well worth the
money and is guaranteed reactions.
I love this effect and it gets some great reactions with it. The teaching is clear and precise and
Jay doesn't leave anything out and it is guaranteed to get some laughs and reactions as well. It
does take a little while to get this to look as good as it can be but if you put the time into
practicing it you will not be dissapointed.
This is a fairly strong effect that requires just a small amount of practice. Jay presents four
different ways of doing the effect, ranging from basic sleight of hand to almost none. He also
teaches two good forces to help your spectator find the right card. Everything is taught in detail
and even a complete beginner could pick this up in a few minutes.
This couldn't be called a
perfect closer necessarily, but it does fool a lot of people and sets you apart from a lot of other
card guys out there. The gimmicks are printed on quality stock and pass a relatively quick
inspection as they go from your hand to the spectator's.
