This is my third "In A Flash" deck, which tells you something. It is easily my favorite
close-up/walk-around effect. The look on the spectator's face as the coin appears to melt through
the deck is priceless. Everybody loves fire magic, and this is a sure-fire winner anywhere flash
paper is allowed.
I use the line, "If you like card tricks, than this one is my favorite.
And if you don't like card tricks, than consider this a coin trick."
One thing to note for
those who purchased the original version of this several years ago--the gaff has been slightly
modified. Ostensibly, this was to better simulate a burn patttern. But I suspect part of it also had
to do with making this more difficult to counterfiet, as was ubiquitious on a well-known auction
site during this effect's heyday. I think I prefered the original, but once you have the ash from a
few performances, nobody will question whether or not the deck is actually burning.
Finally, I recently purchased Jay Sankey's "Identity Theft Project." He has a routine there that
uses a borrowed quarter and suggests going from that routine directly into "In a Flash." That's a
good idea that I look forward to trying soon, as I love it when one effect can flow into another
seamlessly.

Do not underestimate the "simplicity" of this effect, because for lay people - It KILLS! Love the
great nice and easy handling. You can concentrate on the presentation and you definitely have a
winner. Highly recommended!
This is like carrying a bit of stage magic in your hands! People are blown away... they never see
it coming.
I knew how it was done before I ordered, but at the price it's not worth the
trouble of making it yourself. I also knew the reactions I would get.
It's so much fun,
you'll love doing it just for yourself!

Absolutely love this trick! This is a must have!
This is the effect I seem to get remembered for; people describe me to their friends as 'the guy who
put a coin through a deck of cards in a fireball'! It's a great trick and very easy to do. You
should certainly buy this because it is a reputation maker!
This is one of my most requested effects right now and it is super simple to perform and requires
almost no sleight of hand and when you light up the tissue paper (you know what it really is) you're
sure to get some gasps from the audience and when you go to the bottom of the hole in that deck and
show that it's their freely selected and signed card they absolutely freak out.
This trick is a real worker. Never fails to get the attention as an opener, and never fails to
provoke a reaction.
I purchased this trick without the DVD so I can only speak on the effect itself. Your performance
will really sell this trick so practice it a lot. From my experience doing this trick, it gets great
reactions. The only downside is that you have to purchase flash paper separately. If you perform
this, it will be one of those tricks that people remember you because of. Add to Cart!
While this routine is very visual it is best suited for table/restraunt magic. NOT STAND up.
However, having said that, if you are looking to combine coin magic, card magic, and everyones best
friend fire, then this is for you. great visuals and sankey at his best
Fire gets huge reactions. This is a great bit for strolling acts. As with all presentations, you
will need to practice the moves, patter, and presentation. You can easily adapt the moves and ideas
to other presentations. This is not a beginer trick. You will need to master some card
manipulation. Did I mention the fire?
