What you get is a DVD in a little CD style case. It's nothing incredible the way it's packaged, it's what's INSIDE that counts!

Rocco begins by performing his 2006 award winning FISM act. I'll tell you, it's worth the price of the DVD to see this! Almost everything you see in it requires sleeving, and it's incredible the things he sleeves. The misdirection will blow your mind!

Rocco also goes into the clothing requirements. These aren't too restricted, but some things work better than others. You will have to see what works for you, based on what he says. This guy is a pro, he knows!

Then after those 2, he goes into the actual sleeving portion of the DVD. You will learn how to sleeve basic shapes, and hybrid shapes. The basic shapes are like squares, circles, spheres etc. Then hybrid shapes are things like nail clippers, spoons, pens etc. Finally, Rocco teaches us what accessories and various other ideas you can use with sleeving.

This is a FULL guide to how to sleeve. He goes through everything in detail and gets the angles not everybody shows us. And what's great, is there's no breaking at the wrist so everything is simple to do. After this, you can pick up volume 2. That actually teaches his fism act.

I loved this purchase. I didn't know much about Sleeving until I seen Rocco perform in a video I found on YouTube. Seeing the miracles he did by Sleeving got me hooked. So I purchased this and I am very satisfied with the info. I will be getting part 2 soon. This can be done with a sweater also if you don't want the jacket. Just make sure the measurement that Rocco gives for the cuffs are correct. Although I do recommend a jacket if you plan on doing multiple effects. With Sleeving you can literally do magic anytime any place anywhere because there's always stuff laying around. I love it!

If you are just starting out with sleeving, or you want to bring your ability to the next level, check this out. It is inexpensive (though the production value isn't that high, but what do you expect?) and the techniques taught here are fantastic. He goes over clothing requirements first and then he gets into the basic shapes of sleeving (pen, ball, coin). He then shows how you can sleeve tons of objects using those basic shapes (lipstick, matches, the list goes on). To top it all off, he gives you some simple drills to master the movements. After a couple of hours of practice, you can be sleeving like a pro.

A solid dvd from a solid professional. The routine ideas were very repetitive, however and I was disappointed that Rocco didn't show his sleeving technique using the transparent plastic suit jacket he talks about. Evidently, that is included in the Sleeving #2 dvd. No reason to have to buy TWO dads to learn his sleeving techniques!

I saw Rocco's lecture in which he covered a lot on sleeving, I just wanted more of his magic and got it on this DVD! (Just ordered the 2nd one too!) Rocco not only teaches his relatively easy sleeving techniques as far as the mechanics - (yes you need to practice) but more importantly the misdirection, justification, and routining that make his magic memorable. He also shares his out of the box thinking that shows you how to create your own original routines. I mean who pops pop corn in their hand and ultimately changes it instantly and visually into an ear of corn? He does, and so much more :) Buy it, you'll be very happy you did!
