Magic Tricks

I did not buy the books at penguin, but I feel they should have a review. These books are AMAZING. The quality, the insight and the story behind each routine is such a joyful read.
I mainly bought these because of the conference illusions because these are of special interst to me. But Caveneys Wonders turned out to the better book of the two.

Caveney has put a lot of thought in his routines. Many of them are constructed - not bought - from scratch. This will make it very hard for a magician to construct some of these routines for him self. But seeing the gradual development of some of these routines (like the chicken & silverware-routine)is very educating.
