I absolutely love this pad! It is super thick, yet can roll up nicely to fit in my box. The black one, which I purchased, covers up thread from a reel, like a tarantula. I use it for my cups and balls (my favorite trick. Purchase the penguin cups) the balls on the pad are silent and it prevents the cups from being dinged. I think it is great for a matrix effect too.
