I love Oz. Some of his DVDs are the most valuable tricks in my collection. In his Triumph and Clutch
DVD, he goes into so much detail about the tricks.
With Stealing Pips, everything felt very
weak. The tricks all felt like high effort for low reward. The effects weren't that strong, and some
of the moves were done in a very complex way.
The "Gimmick" of this DVD is a simple one,
that anyone can produce which is nice, but I don't think it's necessary. It adds an extra layer
which can be achieved with better card handling.
I've watched the DVD a few times now
trying to pull out something I can use for my own personal arsenal of tricks, but nothing sticks
with me.
I think he rushes quite a bit as well. I'd prefer if he went into a bit more
detail for each effect and trick.
