First off, you have no control over when the coins fall once you begin the trick. You have to
perfectly time your vanishes and appearances with no way of knowing other than ticking off an
internal clock in your head. Maybe you'll hit it, maybe you won't. On the plus side, the gimmick is
silent when operational, though you can hear the coins moving if you aren't careful when placing the
card box on the glass.
Also, the vanish seen in the video requires a special coin that is
not included. They do teach a vanish using a coin gaff most workers will have, as well as another
using 3 regular coins, but they require you to be seated. Also, any spectator seated at the table
who happens to look under the box while it's on the glass (and after the first appearance it's not
hard to imagine someone leaning in to do it) will see what's happening. Yes, audience management is
part of the game, but if you are doing this table to table and there are kids there, you can expect
the unexpected. Using a glass with a stem isn't required and it will help avoid that possibility,
even though it's not as pretty.
For what you are getting, I feel it's very overpriced.
Also, there is a part of the gimmick that isn't secured as it should be and after a few times it
could slip out of place, causing the whole thing to fail.
Timing is everything with this
trick and with practice you can probably get very close to your timing for the appearances, but
you'll have to put in the work to make it convincing.
