Using one inch sponge balls for the climax to a sponge ball routine turned out to be better than the other smaller sizes that I have used in the past for my walk around gigs. The reason is because, even though they are small "babies", they are big enough so that they cannot escape as easily from the spectator's hands and onto the floor where I often don't see them and leave them unintentionally as I go to the next table
