Don't let the simplicity of this effect turn you out! it's very easy to do, and im sure the reactions will be great.
As per the title, you will have to do some mods on the key tags. They are made of an aluminium aloy that is pretty soft, so they scatch very easily!
Since there is two of them, the one one the keychain will get beat up, and the other one will remain more or less intact....
And they don't have any inscription on them, they are just plain aluminium......doesn't look like a real key tag....
So the final reveal will look different from the first key tag.
What i did? I went to a trophy shop (yes yes a trophy shop) and they modified my tags in 2 way:
1- they printed A80 on one side, and they covered them in a clear plastic coating. All of that for 40$ canadian dollard.
now i have a reveal that looks like the one on the key chain, and they have a number on them, just like a locker, or a postal box key tag!
