This version has some improvements over past models but comes with some negatives as well. The
gimmick in the first version was basically universal for iPhone and Android phones. With the change
in technology now each phone requires its own. This can be challenging in performance because you
have to know what phone the Spec is using prior to performing the trick. The gimmicks are not
interchangeable hence the need to use the correct one for each type of phone. One plus with this
version is the ability to flip the phone over while it is being balanced. This is a real fooler
especially for people thinking you are using "magnets" or "adhesive" to make it work. You may have
to modify the stock gimmick slightly to pull off this move unless you have thin fingers.
The
biggest problem I have with this version is cost and execution. I feel the cost is very high
considering what you actually receive for gimmicks. You should receive several of each type for the
cost. They are very easy to loose.
I feel the execution is more difficult on this model.
Actually attaching the gimmick to the phone seems more cumbersome with this version. The biggest
problem I have is with CASES. Everybody has one. Who uses a phone without one? Nobody! Getting the
gimmick to attach to the phone with a thick case can be problematic especially with the Android
phones since the gimmick doesn't "lock" on like the iPhone does.
To eliminate many of the
issues that I have raised here, use your own phone for the demo and start with the gimmick attached.
Do the nice moves, Turn hand palm side down at end as you hand phone to audience to be checked
giving you the perfect opportunity to clean up. Way less risky with nearly the same result as
borrowing a phone. Hope this helps. Now go entertain someone.
