As lessons by video go, this one is paltry at best. Jermay talks fast and, when it comes to
describing how to assemble the gimmick, goes into very little detail. And as for the performance
itself, one should be aware up front that it's quite hit or miss as to the likelihood of success.
Even with practice, as becomes quite clear when you watch Jermay fumble while trying to demonstrate
his performance in the tutorial. The best analogy I could come up with is standing in a bathroom
where there are three motion-activated sinks but only one works, and you don't know which.
Essentially, you're expected to wave your hands under each until water comes out, and announce that
you're a magician when your hands finally get wet.
This effect came "free" with a cyber
Monday deal; I'm quite glad I didn't actually pay $9.95 for the effect. As for the demonstration
that's done in the advertisement - after watching Jermay's fumbles during the tutorial it's hard not
to believe he had to film multiple takes before he got it right during the demo.
