Unfortunately, the craftsmanship regarding this particular gaff is so poor that I cannot in good faith recommend its purchase, much less the use of it, to neither the professional or the amateur. The milling is rather rough, the thickness is uneven, and quite frankly, it appears as if the copper side of the coin was merely glued onto the shaven side of the silver coin in a rather poor manner. A better alternative would be to source this particular gaff from an expert coin worker.
