The trick looks great and the cards are of good quality. What caught me out is the entire trick
being based on a sleight which, as a complete newbie, I had no idea about. So, on the positive side,
it's expanded my knowledge and forced me to learn and practice a new technique. On the negative, it
may be some time before I can make use of this trick as it's going to take a lot of work before I
can make it look any good. Also the instruction video neglects to tell you the starting positions of
the cards. Again, this may be obvious to the more experienced used but not to people just starting
on their journey into magic.
I'm terrible at all sleight of hand except this one sleight you're talking about. One of the easiest sleights in magic to master. If you practice daily, you should be ready in less than a month
Because you have to practice you gave it a negative review? If you don't want something to practice i suggest trying another hobby
@6:25 of the video John clearly shows and explains the set-up of the cards.
Mark, I cant believe you haven't encountered this sleight. Even if cards aren't your strong suit, there are numerous youtube vids to instruct you or the any of the big book volumes turned video. I learned if from Simon. Oh man. Its good. It is WAY easier than you may think. Knowing a proper way and some practice will make this a super trick for ya. Ammar's vids show you a different way thats very slow and intentional. Do learn! Good luck!
Meant to type Mart. Text prediction strikes again.
