The experienced mentalist won’t pick up anything particularly new here. I thought this was a
realtime read, but it isn’t. This is the classic center tear with some extra ideas for handling the
open and read sequences. I find them to require too many dependencies — gesture requirements and
accessory requirements. For a less fussy version of the classic center tear, I would recommend Bill
Abbott’s Penguin Lecture. He also covers the best justification for tearing the paper that I’ve ever
seen. For a realtime tear, I recommend T Rex. That being said, there is nothing wrong with this
instructional video. It’s a decent and affordable tutorial for a beginner. Those with more
experience may be disappointed.
