It is very suspicious, yet it does get great reactions from people. Any person watching this can figure the effect out even if you do the thing that accomplishes the effect correctly. Although, If you do the presentation well, have enough patter, and add some creativity, like Luke Jermay did, it will freak people out. Basically, practice it for a while, and you will get great reactions.
