If you own the Svengali Deck then you will know that the trick is pretty good on it's own. This good offers you some other really good routines with the deck but you will probably just stick with the original. Forcing a card is also a great use too. The book is pretty inexpensive so you won't be losing out if you don't use anything from it but chances are that with 101 Tricks, you'll at least find something you'll use.
