These are awesome substitutes to sponge balls. Opening statement, flat out. Jay had these jumbo
earplugs specially made to LAST!
I used to perform this as a full spongeball routine. They
pack in your pockets but don't crease or fold, which is the best part of them. Most spongeballs just
compress in your pocket and get all squarey. We don't want that. These will last. But I hate the
jumbo load. It's way too big and bulky. Plus these are fairly thick material so it's really hard to
palm more than one, let alone a FULL JUMBO ONE.
The DVD was really good. I think the
introduction was one of the most interesting introductions to a magic DvD I've seen in a while. It's
interesting to know how long ago this was originally filmed. But other than that, he goes very far
into everything and teaches perfectly. Just grab the sponges and rock out.
Finally, the
bonus section! Usually I don't like his bonus effects. But these were cool. The do as I do is
awesome, as is re:cap. They are practical tricks and break the mood sort of, so it's fun to watch.
