There's some useful information to be found here for the beginner, in a consolidated, concise
format. These are all basic forces everyone should be familiar with. I would recommend skipping
the crosscut force and the topsy turvy force. They might be the easiest to do, but despite claims
to the contrary, they're really not very deceptive. None of these forces will fool anyone who works
with cards, but forces like these will often get you caught by (or just look "wrong" to) lay people.
Take the time to learn the other ones. They really aren't that difficult, but they are far more
effective.
