This is one of the classic effects of card magic that everyone needs to know. If you don't, then
this is a good place to start.
This is a very easy effect to perform... absolutely no
sleights. Any beginner can manage this one, and yet the reactions are just so good, especially in
relation to the difficulty level.
My only issue is that this is merely the original,
classic version. This is such a classic effect, there have been countless variations and
improvements over the years. There literally are books written solely about this one effect and its
history and evolution. So, when you get to that one part of the routine that you might not like so
much, be aware that there have been many subsequent attempts to make it more deceptive. For the
beginning card worker, this download should be considered the beginning, not the end, of your
education in this effect.
