This effect is a great trick because it can be done using ordinary everyday objects. Yes, there is
some set up and it can be tricky to do, but it's just a straw. It's not like you are pulling out
some weird rod that no one has ever seen before. It's a straw. And on that note, it's a sealed straw
too. No one is going to suspect it. Just pull a straw out of the holder (wink) and do the trick. You
can even get a server to bring it out with the drink if you are really ambitious, but just be
careful with that one. Overall, it's actually a really good trick and if you don't mind doing a bit
of set up, then it's certainly worth it.
