If you are looking for effects that move in a straight line this is for you. The 5 color books span
a time period from 1976 to 1980 and were ahead of their time. The essays alone at the beginning of
each book are worth the price of admission. Looking beyond the effects there is a wealth of
performing insights that will make you a better performer. The book does assume a certain level of
knowledge like how to do a billet switch or a center tear. My only problem with the book was I
could not put it down and it is already getting dog eared! As a side note look into the 13 steps
DVD it is great and I would recommend both 13 Step Book and DVD along with this book to kick off
your 2011.
