I am not really a performer anymore, but I prefer to do illusions for friends, family, parties and
other close-up magic. I'm not a Chris Angell or David Coperfield - that doesn't really appeal to
me.
But this trick/illusion is incredibly powerful. All you need is a great grip on
slight-of-hand and you're ready to go. The fact that the pen comes with a "duplicate" real pen is a
HUGE plus. There are so many gaffs out there today (I'm a coin guy and the US Gov't has made it
difficult to do ad-hoc coin illusions because of the "State" quarters, etc.) that don't come with
something useful to hand out for inspection. I have done this routine in many other ways than the
original intended - I have someone sign a small notebook page and then penetrate it with the pen. I
show the observers that the pen has destroyed their signature and then pull it out intact.
If
you're looking something that can be done close-up at parties, etc., buy this trick. I can't say
enough about having a real pen to hand out for inspection.

IT WILL BLOW peoples' mind if you have the right performance. The only downside is
that you have align the magnets pretty closely to do a full "pull-through" routine and not lose the
end of the gaff on the floor.
