Pure smoke is a great investment. Sure, it makes some noise, and it might scare you at first when
you are in your silent home and the device makes a little purr, but I have done this effect in even
relatively quiet places and it is by no means a problem. Sure, when you show someone the effect in a
dead silent room they will probably hear it. As Jason suggests, just turn on the radio or tv... its
not too hard to find a place with nice ambient noise (a restaurant is fine, the street is good, but
as long as there is, say, a conversation going on near you, you should be covered).
My
only minor complaint is that the whole hook up is somewhat cumbersome--it is reminiscent of the
"dresscode" setup in a way--but for the effect you get it is a steal.
One cool thing about
Pure Smoke is that it is not just a magic utility either. You can use it as a joke (like taking your
friends phone and saying it is overheating as smoke comes from it) and it could be used for just
about anything--like handing your business card to someone in a cloud of smoke.
The
possibilities are endless. Add to cart!
