I love utilizing 'Out To Lunch' routines/presentations. I've used rubber bands of various size and
type and I've used a couple of other fairly expensive items on the market that were designed to be
used specifically for executing OTL routines. But this Out To Dinner clip by Doc Eason is my
favorite! It's elegant looking and so unobtrusive as to be above suspicion. Simple, elegant and
perfectly designed. Talk about 'packs small, plays big'!
Now the technical stuff you
need to know: If you care, it's made out of a metal that will stick to a magnet. It's
silver/chrome in color and shiny. In the three years or so I've had mine, I have never had to polish
it. It doesn't tarnish and doesn't chip. The clip is snug enough to hold even two or three
standard business cards snugly and hasn't ever lost it's clip strength.
For optimal use,
you'll want to use between 6 and 12 business cards of standard thickness. If you try to stick more
than about 15 cards in the clip, you may find you have to wiggle/struggle to get them out of the
clip. Keep the number under 15 for smooth, flawless, removal of a single card when you're ready.
If you already perform OTL, then you'll wonder why you didn't get this before. If you are
new to, or interested in, performing OTL, this clip will spoil you and you'll refuse to use any
other method/tool, (or if you try, you'll come back to this one).
One final word: This is the
clip for OTL. It is not a 'trick', per se. It is a utility item designed to provide smooth and
classy execution of the OTL principle. You should know what OTL is and you should have at least one
routine in mind when you purchase this. If that is the case, then you absolutely cannot go wrong
with Doc's Out To Dinner clip!
