I'm really enjoying this effect. As scripted (or some variation thereof) it's wonderful. I might
recommend (in the future) a deck of "motels" that us "trench magicians" stay at around the country
{Motel 6; Comfort Inn; etc)... To some that "know" you're a magician, the obscure hotels might
scream "Props!" Common motel (or even hotel) names, I think it might make it more readily
acceptable to the layman. The cards and instructions are of the highest quality and very
professional.
All of the motel cards are of real motels that should be familiar to everyone. It is easy to script your patter around this if you feel it is an issue. Perhaps, these are the hotels you were going to stay in, but when at the front desk and seeing the prices....you decided Motel 6 was where you were going.....after you take their complimentary business card from the holder on the front desk! A little comedy added to a mentalism routine.
