This trick starts and ends clean. The audience inspects the ropes before the performance and after the performance. The ropes are truly not gimmicked. It is easy to learn. Ropes are inexpensive. The props do not occupy much space, so are relatively portable. And the effect is has on the audience is great. There is potential to involve the audience and make your performance interactive if you ask them to guess the sizes.
