Yes it is old, but every trick is new the first time you see it.

Adults like this as much as the kids. Some kids don't know what a bandana is, so I give the birthday child a 'Birthday Bandana" to wear at the start of the show. Then when I do this trick later, they get the pun.

Easy to learn, difficult not to get a laugh!
