No disrespect to Dean, as he is awesome. But his pickup move is a little jaanky
for my taste.
The camera angles were terrible in this video, so the move was
telegraphed. He did execute his
move flawlesssly, but again, the video angles
were telegraphing every move.
But, having
said that, the BACKFIRE portion of the video makes this well worth
the price of the download.
I personally believe the pinch pickup, coupled with the coin slide taught in
Bobo's Modern
Coin Magic, makes for a much more flawless matrix, as you
can pick up the coin with the card,
and show both sides of the card, without
exposing the coin. It is just more fluent.
I gave
this effect four stars due to camera angles, not because of the effect.
Get this, as it is well
worth the price!
